There’s a spot along the headwaters of the Colorado River that serves as a venue for some seriously magical festivals… (Yarmony Grass anyone?!)  Besides being one of the most ideal settings for a festival, it’s also absolutely gorgeous.  The sunsets at Rancho Del Rio are some of the best that Colorado has to offer.  The concept for this piece came to me from some friends and clients who are hosting their own private festival at the venue this summer for their wedding.  I don’t take on too many private commission projects like this, as things are extremely busy at the studio these days.  But this was something special.  I really connected to the idea for the piece, and in the end we all loved it… and I hope you do too!  Here’s to another epic summer festival season, YAAAAARRRRRRR!
